Payment security best practices

Protect your payment information

Do:

  • ✅ Use a secure, private internet connection (avoid public Wi-Fi)
  • ✅ Verify the website URL shows "https://" and the padlock icon
  • ✅ Enable SMS/email alerts from your bank for all transactions
  • ✅ Use strong, unique passwords for your Pro Lab account
  • ✅ Keep OTP/password confidential
  • ✅ Log out after completing your purchase

Don't:

  • ❌ Share OTP, CVV, or card PIN with anyone (we'll never ask)
  • ❌ Save card details on shared/public devices
  • ❌ Click payment links from suspicious emails or SMS
  • ❌ Use "Save Card" on public computers
  • ❌ Share your account password with others

What if my payment fails?

Insufficient funds, daily limit exceeded
Check account balance, try different payment method
OTP Not Received
Network issue, incorrect mobile number
Check mobile number registered with bank, retry after 2 minutes
Payment Pending
Bank processing delay
Wait 10–15 minutes, check bank SMS, contact support if not resolved
Payment Declined
Bank security restrictions, international card block
Contact your bank to enable online transactions
Card Not Supported
Some cards don't support online payments
Try a different card or payment method

Payment debited but order not confirmed?

This occasionally happens due to bank-gateway communication delays. Don't panic.

What to do

  1. Wait 15–30 minutes — most resolve automatically
  1. Check "My Account" → "Order History" — the order may already be there
  1. Check your email for confirmation (may arrive delayed)
  1. If amount is debited but no order after 30 minutes, contact support with the payment reference number
  1. Don't re-attempt payment immediately — it may cause a double charge

Resolution timeline

If the payment genuinely failed, the amount is refunded within 5–7 business days automatically by the payment gateway company.

Reporting a security concern

If you notice anything suspicious about a Pro Lab payment page or receive a suspicious email claiming to be from Pro Lab, please report it immediately to support@prolab.in or call +91 99803 99806. We take all security reports seriously.
